Free ‘how to session’s at Dinas Powys Library

Newydd, Communities First and VOG Council are running free weekly IT how to sessions at Dinas Powys Community Library every Monday 10am 12pm starting Monday 13th March 2017.

The 1-2-1 sessions are aimed at complete beginners wanting to learn new skills, or those individuals wanting to brush up on old skills. By running the session in a 1-2-1 setting, we can work specifically to meet the needs of the individual to help them meet their goals.

Friday 24 March 2017: An Evening of Music. A fund-raising event for the library. Parish Hall, Dinas Powys. From 19:30.

St David's Day in the library


St David's Day was celebrated by the volunteers and visitors of all ages in the Dinas Powys Community Library and Activity Centre, with daffodils, Welsh cakes and bara brith.

The signing of the lease and service level agreement

Dinas Powys Library & Activity Centre is open!

Hello Everyone, at long last I can report great news.

At 4pm today,Tuesday 1st November 2016, Chris Franks and myself formally signed the 99 year Lease Agreement and Service Level Agreement with the Vale of Glamorgan Council to complete the transfer of the Dinas Powys Library over to the "Dinas Powys Library & Activity Centre" Trustees.
